Question: If you could accellerate the earth by a few feet per second to
make its orbit a little larger (and more elliptical...) would you also have
to accellerate the moon to prevent a future collision? What would moving
earth do to the orbit of the Moon? Or from another perspective, say you
wanted to move one of the Kuiper Objects to Mars (to add gases and water to
the planet terraforming) How would you move it past the Jovian planets or
the asteroid belt on the way to Mars without a disasterous collision?
There's just too much stuff in the way.

This isn't the first time I've heard "planet moving" suggestions, but good
lord, how would something like this be accomplished? I mean, even with a
purely hypothetical question, you can't very well strap booster rockets to
the sides!
