@Marcus yes, I agree. What I wanted to say is there's a paradigm shift toward a sharing ecosystem, that indeed has drawn some inspiration from open source as practice. If these infrastructures and low barriers are there it is due to open source too.
What I see is that these practices are influencing business models too, inducing a shift to open source inspired systems. Very nice paper!
