Hello, Thanks to the efforts of python.org's Brad Knowles, we now have a couple of private mailing lists: europython-talks for talk proposals and reviewing, and europython-contact for confidential enquiries. See here for details:
http://www.europython.org/community/Mailing_Lists As a consequence, we should be very close to opening for talk proposal submissions, and I'd like to remind people to take a look at the draft announcement: http://www.europython.org/community/Planning/CallForParticipationDraft Since we've been delayed in getting to this point, I think we need to delay the deadline somewhat, so I've updated the timetable page: http://www.europython.org/community/Planning/Timetable If the revised timetable looks good, and if people are happy with the announcement, I propose making the announcement late tomorrow and updating the calendar and the Web site. For people interested in reviewing talks, you should be able to join the europython-talks list, although the list owners will need to approve you; currently, this is John, Laura, Samuele and myself. We can discuss list ownership in due course - this seemed to be the most suitable mix of people to begin with. Paul P.S. On the subject of lists, the old europython-sponsorship list seems not to get much use any more. I've changed the contact details on the site to promote the other lists (including europython-contact) instead. _______________________________________________ Europython-improve mailing list [email protected] http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/europython-improve
