Zachary gave me the source files in SVG format along with some non-redistributable fonts and some very large PNG files. If you want more details, just get in touch with me directly and we can see what can be done. > Do we need to put more info, for example like the main topics of the talks? > > Also do we want to put sponsors' logos on the poster? My opinion about the poster, and I think I've seen the latest version, is that it employs a visually distinct design which works well enough without all the distractions that people tend to add to promotional conference posters. I'm no fan of the Zen of Python (as some people may have noticed), but the design works nicely. Perhaps it does look a bit O'Reilly, as someone else pointed out, so you might want to tread carefully especially if looking for sponsorship from them. ;-) On the subject of clutter on promotional conference posters, one such example that I'm familiar with - and it isn't for a computing conference - has all sorts of information on it from deadlines through to keynote speakers, but what is most peculiar is that pride of place is given to listing the conference chair and his cohorts, making them look like a bunch of narcissists. Anyway, keep up the good work! Paul _______________________________________________ Europython-improve mailing list [email protected] http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/europython-improve
