The problem with the PyCon videos, as far as I can tell, is that they are shot 
from far back in the room and it isn't possible to read the text on the 
screen, although they may have recorded in high definition, for all I know, 
and perhaps a cropped version from the source would be fine in that respect.

Just to give a differing opinion about video recordings, I've seen some very 
good FOSDEM videos and some of them didn't involve slides at all.

As for the slides, I don't think we did too badly in 2008. In 2007 we had more 
of a challenge because everyone had decided that they hated Indico, which was 
where the slides were being held.
