I think the rates are quite reasonable, with a tiny icrease compared to last years Europython, if you use the current converstion rates. At the very end of the wiki page is a list of payment options. I suggest making it possible to pay by credit card, or possibly PayPal at the door as an option to plan for and support. I did this for the second Eurpython in Gothenburg, and it worked very well. It saved people the hassle of finding an ATM that would give them enough cash, and it saved me from having a huge stack of cash in my pocket to worry about.
