Hey folks,

Wesley Chun has a couple of questions I have no idea what the answers are. Any takers?

oh, two more questions:

1. Google (my employer) is sponsoring EuroPython... how many
conference passes do we get for our level of sponsorship? how should
we register if it's different?

2. what if i want to attend 1 or 2 other tutorials (but neither of the
entire days)?

thanks!

Thanks for that Wesley, good idea. I'll run a quick query, see if I can't
find speakers who haven't already registered, and just send a reminder to
them.

The only special instructions are that you qualify for the reduced 'speaker
rate' from the very first input field at the top of the booking form.

Best regards,

hi jonathan,

i'm replying to let u know i received both of your messsages. in your
reminder, you should also let speakers (and tutorial instructors) know
that they NEED to also register for the conference! it nearly slipped
my mind! also let us know if there are any special instructions for
speakers.

thanks,

  Dear EuroPython tutorial presenter,

We recently realised that a few of our presenters did not recieve their
acceptance email.

Please could you send a blank reply to this email immediately, just to
let
us know that you are aware you are presenting a tutorial at EuroPython.
Many
thanks!

WIKI PAGES

Also, be aware that each tutorial now has its own wiki page, which is
linked
to from the bottom of its description on the EP website. You can get to
the
descriptions from the timetable:
http://www.europython.eu/talks/timetable/

This wiki page would be a good place for you to put any notes or
instructions you would like tutorial attendees to see before the day of
the
tutorial. For example, your tutorial may only support particular
operating
systems, versions of Python, or require particular libraries to be
installed
before the tutorial begins.

PLEASE VOLUNTEER

Finally, during the main conference there are a few jobs which we
desparately need a few more people to volunteer for. Please check out the
volunteering page to see if there are any jobs you could sign up for to
help
the conference out, especially session chairs and audio monkeys:
http://wiki.europython.eu/VolunteersByActivity

Don't forget to reply to this email!

Many thanks for helping to make this a great EuroPython. I hope you have
a
fantastic conference,

    Jonathan Hartley
