Hi Giovanni, Hello Everyone, Have you considered using Fluidinfo to provide your API..? (Note: I work for Fluidinfo but please don't think I'm some sort of salesman. I'm a Python developer who's passionate about openly writeable linked-data APIs and the Europython API idea seems like a great idea).
Put simply, we (Fluidinfo) are using Python to build a platform for creating and sharing data by providing users with an instant RESTful/json based writeable API. Storing Europython information in Fluidinfo would generate a simple, searchable and consistent API and because of Fluidinfo's openly writeable nature, others would be able to contribute information about Europython too. A sort of free public access meta-data store/API - all done in Python. We've written various blog posts that describe similar sorts of endeavours here: http://blogs.fluidinfo.com/fluidinfo/ I suppose I'm volunteering myself (and usage of Fluidinfo) for the cause. In fact, a it'd be fun to give a "how we did it and what you can do with it" type talk at the conference itself. I quite understand if this isn't up your street and, once again, many apologies if this sound like I'm trying to sell you something (I'm most definitely not). Let me know what you think and happy to discuss / answer questions (you can also find me on IRC - #fluidinfo on Freenode). All the best, er, ciao, :-) Nicholas.
