This showed up on ep-contact. CLearly the new team is free to do what they like in terms of handling this, but in the past I have popped off a note to the Nigerians asking what they use Python for. This helps determine if they are legitimate would-be attendees. We don't want to turn away any Nigerian python users, but we also don't want to go through the trouble of making it possible for them to attend when all they want is a plane ticket to Europe.
