I'm not sure this argument holds. How did Florence learn to do it? And
Birmingham before that, etc? No one is suggesting improvising, but
there are plenty of seasoned conference-organising teams around
Europe.

I personally would like to see Europython move after the second year
in Florence, this is one of the highlights of the conference to me.
