I think he might fit into that Python and transcending idea. I DO NOT want him to talk about generic functions, WHATEVER that may be... but he has a lot of transcending stuff.
Phillip Eby. If we're going for Python bloggers, I'd prefer Ian Bicking in this case. Phillip is pretty much about the code typically (and you'll get generic methods and so on), Ian tends to discuss Python in the wider world more, etc.
