Hey Keith,

Since this is a programming conference, I think the major risk here is
going to be alcohol poisoning rather than an accident at the university
itself! In the event of an accident, it falls upon the "Disaster
Management" team, which Zeth and I have volunteered for, to handle it,
whether it be a projector dying on us to someone falling over and
breaking their leg (I really hope that doesn't happen)! Luckily, well
perhaps unluckily, for you I have first aid experience and training, so
in the event of an emergency, you have the stewards and a few other
delegates running round (I hope it's not just me) with the necessary
training to handle the situation.

Judging from Zeth's response too, there's also a safety introduction
before the conference, so I hope that this can help answer your question!
