+1 on the national express coach, I take it all the time. However, I do have the ability to sleep the whole journey, and/or read/use computer the whole way without getting travel sick. One tip is to stack up on water and cold food at the airport (hot food is not allowed on the bus). You book the bus online and print yourself the ticket: http://www.nationalexpress.com/coach/airport/Airport-Foreign-Landing-Page-Coach-English.aspx If you miss the coach you are booked on, you can normally just get the next one. (You can sometimes also blag your way onto an earlier one too if your plan lands early). Might be worth listening to this song before you start! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H3NVPOedkEk Otherwise the train will work by just turning up, although very expensive in comparison. Sometimes savings can be made by booking in advance. _______________________________________________ EuroPython 2010 - Birmingham, 17-24 July 2010 - http://www.europython2010.eu EuroPython mailing list [email protected] http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/europython
