When I was working at a high performance turbo shop in Denver, we
got a large number of DeLorians in for turbocharging. My cigar-chomping
boss, Fred, said that it's because they are so underpowered, a situation that
he blamed on their weight. The shop guaranteed a 50% increase in power
measured at the wheels, a feat that you could easily exceed with electric
power! You would have the most powerful DeLorian around, and I think that
the styling is superb. What a wonderful project! The tubo shop was called
Action Turbos, and their motto was ....rather be blown than stroked.
