It's also worth pointing out that Pivco, which had some financial and 
engineering weaknesses, didn't have anything close to Ford's reported 
problems with the nicads in their Citibees.  There was some trouble with 
undercharging, and that's about all AFAIK.  

I doubt that Ford would deliberately sabotage them, but they might have 
stopped trying very hard to solve any problems that arose.

Let's hope for a buyer for Think -- one who actually has some commitment and 
environmental ethics.
