Not terribly interesting at all: same-old, same-old; the NiMH pack in my
older notebook are dead (but I can rebuild the pack for a reasonable
cost, or even rebuild it using NiCds), the Li-ion pack in my newer
notebook is just as dead, but costs $300+ to replace.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if it is still a case of poor
charger/battery management, however, it doesn't really matter in the end
if the net result is the same.

Cheers,

Roger.
