I concure.  Many of your larger air compressors use ICE to power them. 
 Would a compressed air car then become gas powered?  The next day you 
use an electric compressor and now the exact same car is electric?  And 
the next day you use a hydrualic ram to compress the air and it's now 
water powered?

I'm sorry but the method of creating the fuel does not define the 
vehicle, otherwise most of our electric vehicles would have to be 
considered "Coal powered"
