so far as I'm aware, the final report is still not out. Electrifying times did a good job of listing various articles including mine: http://www.electrifyingtimes.com/webb_gem_fire.html I think Remy should consider listing the E-bike recall (at least four known incidents precipitated it) as somewhat related, as it happened just after this GEM incident and also concerns the issue of how companies react to questions of charging safety.
