When I first got my S-10, the T-145's were near gone (3-4 years on them), so after a few months I put in a pack of 20 Sam's club batteries. Obvious problems are you are stuck with the infamous "universal" terminal, and the batteries don't have the little eyelet's to hook a handle into (which comes back to bite you when you want to remove the batteries). After a few weeks also became obvious the caps were poorly made and resulted in acid puddles on the case. They certainly didn't match the previous owners claims for the range he got on the T-145's, but a T-105 would be a more fair comparison so hard to say. They lasted me about 15 months (with 6 replaced under warranty) but I don't know how much of that was the batteries and my murdering my first pack as apparently is tradition. However, the better batteries pulled out from the set are now in my brother's elec-trac and doing well, as are a few I have in my elec-trac. _________ Jim Coate 1992 Chevy S10 1970's Elec-Trak http://www.eeevee.com
