Great Videos Alan! I must comment though. I went to my first EV drag race recently, Power of DC in MD. I think that the thing that struck me most about the Woodburn videos that I have seen so far (only a couple - they take a bit of time to download), is how quiet they are. It is SO nice to be able to hear the announcer, the EVs, and anything else but the constant roar of the ICEs. Was Woodburn EV only? If so, it does certainly make for a more pleasant EVent. Of course it is nice to have an occasional EV vs. ICE run. I was almost going to say that if it was EV only then an opportunity to EVangelize would be missed. But then I thought... how likely is it really that an ICE drag racer would be "converted"... some of his/her family perhaps. Possibly this could be a more effective EVangelism opportunity - if marketed. To my way of thinking, those more interested in EVs are not the ones impressed by roaring engines. In fact it would seem that these people who may be more predisposed to an interest in EVs would be much less likely to attend a drag racing event dominated by ICEs and their din.

Good going racers! Unfortunately, I did not get the Dualin' 7 doing burnouts on video, though I think you can hear it during one of the races... As I note in the introductory text, the announcer had a habit of talking about the next cars during a race instead of the cars actually racing, so if you want to hear about the cars racing, go listen to the previous race.
