Actually it was no problem at all.  I guess, since the old motor
was Baldor and he was a Baldor dealer (or do all motor rewinders
have these sheets?), he had work sheets which told him exactly
how the old motor was wound.  OK, it wasn't quite that simple
because the windings hardly had 10 turns to start with, so we had
to rewire the windings in parallel instead of in series.  But
still, I ended with a practically new custom AC motor for less
than the cost of a DC motor :-)  I regret that I didn't get a
copy of the paper work he used.
