Otmar, An amazing number of these cars suffered through engine transplants. I am not sure whether it was because they were underpowered or parts were hard to get, but I have seen quite a few with American engines stuffed in. This is not a pretty sight, with lots of random cutting and welding. If you can find one of these, the price should be a lot less than an original car. Sounds like a neat conversion.
