Some folks here may know that Keith Bradsher, Detroit bureau chief of The New York 
Times from 1996 to 2001, has written a book entitled "High and Mighty: SUVs - The 
World's Most Dangerous Vehicles and How They Got That Way."  

Bradsher was interviewed today on the public radio program "Fresh Air."  He discussed 
various concerns, including overall safety, emissions, fuel efficiency, and SUVs' 
propensity to rollover in accidents (which one could argue is mitigated by properly 
converting them to EVs).
