You are sending in HTML format instead of plain text. The listproc strips off the HTML but leaves the markers indicating that there 'should' be HTML. Many email readers then ignore the rest of the message and all we see is the following:

Personally I usually don't bother (unless it's from someone I think is worth the extra effort) and just delete the message. FWIW the Yahoo archive shows the plain text message.
