Steve, if the caps popped you had splash. Even the slightest needs to be neutralized or you will pay later. I suggest you get it scrubbed down fast.
I have found a hose down is not enough. Pits and pockets will continue to eat away. A baking soda wipe wash has to be followed by a soap wash and two clean rinse wipe downs.
