'Fraid this won't work. The EV-1 lease includes full coverage insurance (includes theft). If you report it stolen when it's not you are committing a crime, either theft or filling a false report depending on how GM wants to proceed. Either way they won't charge you for the vehicle they will just have you arrested when you show up with it. As a stolen vehicle it's no longer legal to drive until it's been "recovered". Once it's "recovered" it goes back to GM (it's still their vehicle).
