That would be very complex, to program the electronic interface relative to the 
planetary gearing. It would be simpler to replace the ICE 
input shaft with an idler gear, and operate the vehicle on the 33kW motor with a more 
robust battery pack. It will already operate in pure 
electric mode, so that single set of electronic control parameters would be a base 
that one could more easily extrapolate from. The 
smaller motor would no longer be of any use as a starter, but it could still function 
for Regen.
