By the way, just to insert my 2 cents on the topic at hand:

Whether or not you agree with his views, you should _certainly_ allow the
Ford engineer space in the forum to present his opinions and commentary. If
they're massively wrong, you'll give all the members a chance to refute his
claims in a public, archived forum. If nothing else, he will help provide
more food for thought on the subject at hand - and surely the person who
designs or helps design a system has as much room on a mailing list as one
who drives it. I would be *delighted* to hear from more 'pro' EV designers
on the EVDL.
