James Weirick stopped by today in the 1984 Electric Fiero I sold him 3
months ago. He has done a really nice job getting things road worthy
in the short time he has had the vehicle. He does not have internet
access at home, but I strongly encouraged him to join the list
for the excellent advice of many seasoned and experienced EV drivers
that subscribe.
So this makes 3 EVers in the immediate area (James, David Roden and
myself). This may not seem like much to the West coast EVers, but
in Ohio it is quite significant to have 3 EV's in a 10 mile radius.
Anyhow, I gave him much of the information at this site
http://www.geocities.com/sorefeets/balancerland/index.htm
so he could take better care of the batteries. I'm sure he'll murder
the first pack, but additional newby information would be helpfull.
If somebody has a link with detialed newby information I'll download
it to PDF and email it to his work address so he can read it offline.
I also plan on updating the evalbum with pictures I took while he
was here. Thanks again to Mike Chancey for this wonderfull web page.
He has used it extensively to gain information about his vehicle. (using
his internet at work during breaks).
He actually found my Fiero on the evalbum and wanted more information
about EV's. I told him mine was for sale and I found a local buyer!
Thanks,
Rod
