Not bloody likely. If you check the fine print in the lease agreement that was signed, I'm confident you'll find a reference to "subjugation". Meaning that the signer agreed to allow the lessor to control the matter and determine the course of action. They will DEMAND that you file a police report. It's all criminally downhill from there.
