I bought an 83 short bed 83 S-10 for a really low price, I decided to pull it down to the bare frame. I found NO rust anywhere , none at all, no dents, never been hit.It looks like it was driven for 6 months and put away, But I know the owner, It has 89K miles on it, so Now it sits in my shop striped down to the frame, I will restore it to NEW condition , custom paint, interior, I havent decided to put twin 9s or twin 11s in it yet, lots of work before that, But, every thing is like new, even the ball joints and tie rods have NO play in them at all, It has AC, PS, PW . When I pulled the V-6 out of it it had all the original pollution devices on it, still had the original exhaust, and brakes, a real time capsule . I happen to like trucks
I have a deal with the Eastwood Company, who sells hot rod restoration paints and supplies to put it their catalogue as a step by step restore then doing the electric conversion , which they didnt know existed . I have what ever time to do this, cuz after jan I will be more busy that a one legged man kicking ass . As many as 14 vehicles to do.
