The debate marches on and on at nausium . this had been going on since I first
came to this site, 7 years ago, It dosnt matter what one is better, Its the
owner that has to make that decision.
We had a debate about tail gates that lasted over a year !! I have used both in
conversions I do, and found NO difference at all besides price. But the AC
units I have used have been problem plagued. all had to be sent back for
repairs ...To me the AC Vs DC thing falls into Murphy's 2nd law of combat...if
the enemy is in range....so are you .. Meaning it dosnt matter., which ever
works ,works. DC motors have been in the material handling system for over 60
years and longer and most of them are still in use

I dont care or want to know all the BS that goes in the engineering field of
motors and controllers, all I care about is that they work . stuff goes into
the controller and comes out and makes the motor go round and round. Im happy .
Maybe thats why my shop is busy. People ask me teck questions and I say..go ask
some one else LOLOLOL to me this is still fun and a good money maker .

The frame on my 83 S-10 is stripped , ready for paint,"chassis black", the
front suspension and rear are sand blasted ready for correct color paint , just
as it was done at the factory .
I have made my mind up on a 11 HV motor, 1,000 controller and 350 V LiOn-P4
batt pack ...BTW, the tail gate will be blended into the bed body LOLOL
