My Datsun truck weighs in at around 2600 pounds and includes the original transmission. I am using an ADC 6.7 inch which began life as a forklift power steering motor. I force air through it to keep it cool, and it has no problem pushing my little truck around at freeway speeds. I do not know the differences between an ADC and a Netgain motor but I know that it is possible for a smaller motor to get the job done on a smaller car. You do need to be concerned about cooling and you also need the proper gearing to help the little guy out :) My motor also has 8 beefy brushes to help deliver extra current. Some 6.7 inch motors, like the one I use on my motorcycle only have 4 brushes.
