Be cautious with substituting a different style of output fuse.  The original 
is chosen to ensure it has adequate voltage and interrupt ratings for the 
application.  Do not replace the fuse with one of lower current rating as the 
nameplate rating on the fuse assumes an ambient temperature near 25C while the 
internal temperature of the charger can be significantly higher than this.

The stock fuse will be a 125VDC-rated Littelfuse 324-series or similar part:

A possible upgrade would be something like the Littelfuse 505-series, which has 
20kA @ 500VDC interrupt rating:
