Hello everybody, I wanted to let you know that Hewlett-Packard is sponsoring an Alternative Transportation Fair in Boise, Idaho at the HP site again this year. The date will be April 25. We're still working on the logistics, but if you think you can come, mark the date on your calendar. I'll provide more information as we get closer to the date.
The event is intended primarily for HP employees and their families, but many exhibitors are non-HP employees. I can also make arrangements for people interested in attending the fair to be checked in and escorted through the exhibits. The fair is open to all alternative transportation. This includes: electric, CNG, biodiesel, pedal-power, etc. In past years, we've had a good assortment of both home conversions as well as commercial electric vehicles. If you are in the area (or could be in the area in April), and would like to exhibit, send me an email. I'm coordinating the Alternative Transportation Fair portion of the day. This is held in conjunction with HP's Earth Day and Bring Your Inventor to Work day, so we get a great turn-out among employees and their children.
