"Notice of Inconsideration." Oct 27, 2012 ... Two of the things out of plugin drivers control is the location chosen for the EVSE installation, and the installation of plugin-only signage. (Repeating myself) all public EVSE spots need: windshield-height red-lettered tow-away signage. And the EV spot location needs to be 'not-the-premium-locations' (not up front), but the spots that are not desirable by lazy ice-drivers. So, before anyone else builds a tumbler page on ice'd spots and their violators (as the person did in the newswire piece I posted), first take a moment to step back and see, -where was this EV spot located? and -is their strong signage mounted 'in the face' of the driver? If either or both of these were incorrect, then temper your disgust, and perhaps consider letting both the EVSE company that installed the EVSE hardware and the host know what they did wrong. Who knows, maybe it will start to sink in, and EVSE company sales reps will stop selling cheezy/cheaply put together EVSE installation plans. Hosts really do not know anything about what when wrong, so temper your disgust to be in inform-mode. They may get the message and communicate it to their corporate offices. I did this and IKEA has changed in the way their install their EVSE. Their E. Palo Alto store is a good example: installed in a least-used area, that near power, and access to the store is good too http://www.recargo.com/sites/3549 {brucedp.150m.com} -- View this message in context: http://electric-vehicle-discussion-list.413529.n4.nabble.com/ICE-shaming-those-that-block-EVSE-access-tp4661575.html Sent from the Electric Vehicle Discussion List mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ UNSUBSCRIBE: http://www.evdl.org/help/index.html#usub http://lists.evdl.org/listinfo.cgi/ev-evdl.org For EV drag racing discussion, please use NEDRA (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NEDRA)
