I'm still running both the Michelin Energy Saver A/S and Pirelli P6 on two
different cars.  Both have been in use at least two years.  The Michelins
for over 3 years. Both sets of tires are still wearing very well.

For both cars, I simply went out and bought the cheapest after-market
aluminum wheels to match the original wheel size.  The original wheels were
used for the snow tires.  Partly because I don't like steel wheels and wheel
covers.

Cars are a Mazda 626 ICE and a conversion Honda del Sol
