I'm looking to purchase a bunch of batteries to build up a pack (around
350v, 30-60ah). Recently I talked to someone about maybe buying some
EnerDel batteries. They'd be Moxie+ cells and/or Vigor+ battery packs. I've
seen a couple of people (mainly Richard Hatfield) allude to using EnerDel
cells but I'm not sure if they're the same ones. Does anyone have some
experience with EnerDel batteries? Searching the internet it doesn't seem
as if very many people use them. But, their Moxie+ battery packs can have
some impressive specs. A 32ah pack is rated to 160A continuous, 480A surge.
That seems a bit high so I wonder whether it is just marketing hype or
whether they can actually do that without damage?
