I bought an older style AVCON charger (EVI DS-50) and I will remove the AVCON connector that it comes with, to put a new J1772 "pistol" on it.
So if someone has an EV with the AVCON inlet then I can provide him with a conversion cable to connect to the new J1772 charging stations and plug into the AVCON of his EV, because I do not need the AVCON connector and the cable is too long anyway, so all it takes for me is to hook up the socket where the new J1772 charger "pistol" plugs into, at the end of the cable still attached to the AVCON connector.
