Hurricanes and tornadoes, and plugins, oh my!

Last year, Hurricane Sandy (11/12/2012) did tremendous damage in the N. East
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hurricane_Sandy

And I would not want to wish that to happen again. But the first two links
below, mention the U.S. is in for another year of the same horrid weather
events. We have already had serious disasters with tornadoes near the
central states. Each region of the U.S. has its own issues its citizens need
to plan and prepare for.

Plugin drivers can make two major efforts in preparation of their region's
serious weather events.

-Prepare for these so as to minimize how it affects your family and friends;
and your plugin can get a charge

-And to use that success to let the media know, 'plugins have a positive
place in our society'. This idea was used by plugin drivers last year to
good effect (see the 2012 links below).

Those plugin promotional efforts were about a month after Sandy had past,
but also while its damage was in the minds and being felt by all. If you
read those newswire links below, they tell everyone, 'Hey, having a plugin
is an asset'.

I pray that nothing happens to anyone, but if it does, I hope plugin drivers
are prepared, and can also document everything, so at least the hardship can
have some positive effects.
