I wonder why the Edison 2 VLC is not catching the auto industry attention? I
rode 30 plus miles in this car (Oliver Kuttner was driving).  It is a real 4
passenger car with room for luggage too. The 10kwh battery is good for about
100 miles - or 100wh per mile.  Why? - because it weighs about 1200 pounds
(with the battery) and has a drag coefficient of 0.16 (compared withe about
0.29 or 0.30 for a Prius).  

OH well... it will happen. I'm thinking it's slow to be accepted because
it's in-wheel architecture and outrigger wheel pods so very radically
different than anything people are use to.

The 2020 emission standards will speed up its acceptance. IMHO.
