I have heard this refrain"[the Tesla] is my wife's car " so many times, I
realize now there is a reason for marriage. I am available, but you will have
to get me out of the car if you want to drive it yourself!
As Teslaspotter I am happy to say there are more Ss in the east bay/Diablo
Valley daily! Future husband note: I am spotting more female human units
driving Ss than I have seen driving roadsters..Wonder which gender will take to
the Tesla truck? Can't wait to see. LOL

Chuck,

There is a very active Model-S forum at teslamotorsclub.com.  Tons of people in
the NoCal area that can answer your questions regarding rental, superchargers,
etc

One flaw in your plan.  Once you drive the Model-S you won't want to drive your
conversion ;-)  Take it from someone who has two cars in his garage.  An EV
conversion (my daily car for the past four plus years).   And a Model-S (my
dear wife's car, who would have never heard of Tesla if it was not for my
conversion!).

Barry
