[I ask iMiev drivers to correct/comment, and to post their favorite iMiev forum URL]
Here is a page with iMiev specs https://www.mitsubishicars.com/MMNA/jsp/imiev/12/build.do Since all iMiev models come with level-3 as standard (which is different than Leaf models), here is the level-2 & 3 EVSE for your Phoenix AZ area http://www.afdc.energy.gov/locator/stations/widget/results?utf8=%E2%9C%93&location=Phoenix%2C+AZ&filtered=true&fuel=ELEC&owner=all&payment=all&ev_level2=true&ev_dc_fast=true&radius=true&radius_miles=40 If your local Mit dealers http://local.yahoo.com/AZ/Phoenix/Automotive/Dealers/Mitsubishi+Dealers do not sell iMiev, then you are going to have to make an effort to get service/support. Using a web search for buy imiev Phoenix AZ it seems iMiev is not offered where you are, thus you will have to travel far to transport one home. I found one page that shows some iMiev sources outside AZ http://www.carsoup.com/for-sale/Mitsubishi/I-Miev/?radius=500&dosort=price|asc&makeid=52&modelid=21463&minprice=&maxprice=&minmileage=&maxmileage=&maxyear=&minyear= What you are doing is not that different than my early days experience way-back in the 1990ś when there were no Production EVs to be bought. You had to do the legwork yourself, and include the transporting your conversion-EV back home (or to and from the business giving your support), in your purchase/operating costs. Being diligent in this task paid-off for me in the long run. When you have achieved your goal, please post to the evdl what your experience was. I wish you Good Luck :-) {brucedp.150m.com} - On Sat, Jun 15, 2013, at 07:50 PM, Michael A.
