This silent noise thing is a big joke. You wanted cars to be whisper quiet, now you want more noise,,make up your mind people, thats what i would tell theses fools . There is not going to be a law passed to have cars/trucks be at a level of sound to warn any one a car/truck/bus/train is coming . People want quiet vehicles and there going to have them no matter what.
Now on the other hand you have theses gear heads that cant live with out a VERY loud car, they pay extra for it. and are 1/2 deaf after 45 mins of driving ..noisy exhaust systems are a huge business ..I dont know about humans,,,,you give them a FREE car and they bitch about the colour, give them a 15$ an hour raise and they bitch about taxes. make a quiet car and they want more noise???? I bet you this blind guy making all the "noise" about EVs is wearing a set of head phones for his MP-3 when hes walking on the street . I for one will never bow down to a few A-holes that want to inter-fear with my life , I dont care if it law or not, and I still refuse to wear seat belts , the glass on my vehicles is so drake you cant see in any way , and my 67 F-250 was make before seat belts were mandatory , so im grandfathered in. When the people from Colorado air port came to see their aircraft Tug, they were impressed how quiet it was from the rattly diesel it had, Now they can talk to the drive and the ground walker with out using a bull horn .
