Hi Folk's,
For the results of this fantastic race June 30, 2013 see www.PPIHC.com for the
elctric motorcycle that beat *all* the gassers and other E-bikes. One EV
missed me & my son (jumped over side) in mile marker 9 (Engineer's Corner) and
then crashed after the following straightaway. Fortunately he was ok. Three
bikers that went off the peak by Devil's Playground (switchbacks) were in
serious condition and airlifted to the local CoSpgs hospital. One lady on an
outside turn (a no-no place to be) was smacked & taken to the hospital. It was
amazing to see electrics placed at the top and the thin air didn't hurt them
like the gassers. Dave McNeal with the DEVC got some great photos too and was
very helpful, great guy to be with (used to work with him in CoSpgs). next
year I'll camp out instead of get up at 3am & fight the traffic.
