The EV they had on was the Ford Focus Electric, and except for a couple of errors, it wasn't too bad: -They did not mention electrics were around at the beginning of the automobile -The reference to Carbon Dioxide was meant to be Carbon Monoxide -The automakers had to be cajoled/coerced into producing EVs (+more) Interestingly, the piece showed how easy it was to plug-in a plugin, and Chargepoint rfid card a public EVSE. It also let the young interviewer get in and drive the EV. They did a nice job of taking a camera shot from the rear seat that gave a good 'you-are-there' view of what the driver would experience. I saw something I had not seen before, that when the driver put the Focus EV in reverse, the center console showed a rear backup camera view as she backed out. Later, one of the Ford reps tried to show off the MyFord app with SOC and some pollution and money saving data. I think anything to include smartphone use will interest many teen viewers. I think it is too bad they did not have time to show a couple of titillating facts on the built-in MyTouch infotainment system (perhaps making a phone call or play an mp3 from a smart phone).
