Hi Lloyd,

I have used two sets of LRR tires; one on my ICE (2000 Mazda 626) and one on
my EV conversion (1993 Honda del Sol).

I put Michelin Energy Saver Max A/S on my Mazda. I really like those tires.
They have been on several years and still roll great. The difference in
mileage between the winter tires (not LRR) and summer tires is striking.
About 5 mpg difference on the Mazda.

When I got tires for the EV, the Michelins were not available on the
combination of tire size and rim size I had. I could have bought different
rims, but decided that wasn't worth it. I'm running Pirelli P6 All Season
Ultra Low Rolling Resistance tires on the EV. They are working ok, but I
think I like the Energy Saver Max tires better.

However, I don't have much hard data on the P6 tires. I fixed several other
things on the car at the same time as the tires were installed. I don't
have before and after like I do on the Michelins. The tires and other
issues were present when I bought the car and I wanted them fixed quickly
rather than one at a time as experiments.

Mike
