[Sidebar: One of the many stories my Father told me when I was a boy that I
relegated to the least used portion of my grey-cells (his 1920's experiences
just didn't seem to relate to the 1960's). But who knew one might actually
be of use today.

He said as a boy in St. Louis, MO, the school children would run to a
German-American rolling-cart vendor and exclaim 'weenie, weenie, weenie'
with coin visible in clenched up-raised waving hand

His point being that those that exclaimed with loud persistence, got what
they wanted: it was a sellers market for that product to kids.

As posted in the thread above, Tesla is not hurting for business. And IMO it
is likely that those really-wanting a UK Tesla will get one (Tesla ain't no
weenie, but they sure are good).

But do not take the absence of contact the wrong way. Just because you put
your name down on a list a while ago and did not hear anything, does not
mean Tesla does not love you nor want your business. There are many, many
reasons why you were not contacted. And lists along with Internet-methods
are not infallible. You should not take any of it personally (many, many a
time has no one contacted me nor replied in my dealings with EV businesses.
I wear a skin of Teflon, and let that slide off, and move on to do
other/more EVangel activities).

I would suggest you routinely get your name on their list at least every 6
months so you are heard (Yes, they are that good).
