I thought I’d report that after 5K miles the C-4282X brushes on the “Impulse 9”
Warfield/Netgain motor are seeing *no* measurable wear and even with the
modified brush rigging I did (for even current flow). The mod got the wear
even and the softer brushes reduced the wear rate. I was burning down a set in
1-2k miles. I put photos on www.REEVA.info “project gallery” showing the ARM
feed bar now going into the center of two quadrants and the other two beefed up
to reduce dissimilar milli-ohms with ½” copper tubing smashed flat.
