I have a PakTrakr system in my truck (4x 6 lead acid battery remotes,
and one display unit with the amp meter add on).

Recently, one of my remotes has started giving erroneous voltage sensing
readings for batteries 2&3. Specifically, battery two appears to be
about 2-3 volts too high (9 volts) while battery 3 appears to be around
2-3 volts too low (3 volts). I've measured the batteries, and they are
the correct voltages, so it appears to be getting confused and
transferring voltage from one to the next.

I unplugged the remote from battery 1 (which powers it) to reset it, and
everything worked for a day, but after my next charge cycle (overnight)
it went back to the same bad behavior.

The paktrakr.com website is down/missing; am I correct in assuming
the company has ended support for the units?

Anybody have any suggestions for things I should try before taking the
unit out and cracking it open?

Alternatively, anybody have a spare paktrakr 6-8 volt lead acid battery
transmitting unit they are looking to sell?

Thanks,
Jay
